Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fishery Sector Development Project annual Performance Review Meeting is underway at Debreberhane town as of today September 21 ,2021 and stay for three days. Specialists from Federal PCU, Regional PCU and World Bank team of Specialists and TTL are participating on the Review meeting.
Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and fishery sector development State Minster His Excellence Dr Fikru Regassa has opened the meeting with addressing key notes among others the importance of LFSDP which has laid foundation for the Livestock development interventions. Further His Excellence has emphasised on the identification of four livestock commodities such as dairy, poultry, livestock feed and read meat and which are planned and great emphasis given by MOA for the coming 10 years in addition to other commodities identified from crop and NRM sectors . In addition with the remaining 3 years project life time emphasis should be given among others giving strong technical support with real action oriented at all levels by respective specialists, enabling the beneficiaries to properly benefit from the project interventions and improve their livelihoods, speed up the planned procurement activities and proper utilization of financial resource allocated from the donors and should be used for the intended purpose.
RPCU project coordinator of Oromia, Amhara and SNNP regions have presented 2013 FY regional project implementation performance and critical issues were raised and in depth discussion was conducted.
