The Vehicles have been distributed to 6 project regions.

The Ministry of Agriculture has procured and distributed 15 double cup vehicles and 300 motorcycles as part of its Livestock and Fisheries Sector Development Project costing 500, 000 USD by financial support from the World Bank. The vehicles have been distributed to 58 woredas such as 23,15,11,2,2 and 1 woredas of     Oromia, Amhara ,SNNP,Sidama , Benishangul-gumuz and Gambella  regions respectively .

The National project coordinator Thomas Cherent /PhD/ has noted that these vehicles will solve logistics challenges that the woredas have faced for long time to give technical support and follow up at grass root levels.

The financial  support given to procure the  vehicles are part of the six years Fishery and Livestock Development Project   that was started in September 2018 and funded by the world bank which the project has 176 million dollars set aside mainly by the World Bank.
